Kliklet

Privacy policy

Last updated: 21 October 2026

Kliklet processes your puzzle photos and progress on your device. The app has no accounts, advertising, tracking SDKs or developer-operated upload service. This policy also explains what happens if you visit this website or contact support.

Photos, puzzles and preferences

When you choose a photo or take a picture, Kliklet prepares a cropped copy for your puzzle. It does not edit or delete the original in your photo library. Preparing or cancelling a new puzzle does not add it to your saved recent-photo gallery.

Starting a custom puzzle saves its crop and a small thumbnail in the recent-photo gallery. The gallery keeps up to six crops, newest first. A source-data fingerprint is stored locally to recognize an identical import; the original imported image data is not retained by Kliklet. Replaying or re-cropping an existing recent photo updates that entry.

The app also stores one active puzzle with its cropped image, completed-puzzle statistics, and your language, sound and haptic preferences. Completed-puzzle history contains statistics, not completed photos. These records are not uploaded to the developer.

Retention and deletion

An active puzzle is kept until it is completed, replaced or discarded. Recent photos remain until you clear them or they are displaced by newer distinct photos. Starting a seventh distinct custom photo removes the oldest recent entry.

In Settings, Clear recent photos removes the gallery copies without removing the active puzzle or history. Discard saved puzzle removes the active save and its image. Clear history removes completed-puzzle statistics; individual results can also be deleted from History. These actions do not delete originals from your photo library.

Puzzle, gallery and history files are excluded from device backups by Kliklet. This does not change backup or iCloud settings for your original photo library or system-managed preferences. Using iOS Delete App removes the app and its local data; Offload App retains documents and data.

Photo access and sharing

Camera capture uses the camera only after you grant iOS permission. Library selection uses Apple’s system photo picker to give Kliklet the photo you select. Apple’s photo-library and iCloud services follow your device settings and Apple’s terms.

If you choose Share your picture, Kliklet gives the rendered result image and its visible puzzle statistics to the iOS share sheet. You choose whether to send or save it and which destination to use. That destination handles the shared information under its own terms. Kliklet does not share your puzzle photos automatically.

Support messages and your requests

If you email support, your email address, message and any information you choose to attach are used to respond and investigate your request. Email delivery is handled by the email services involved in that conversation.

Support correspondence is kept only as needed to handle the request and meet applicable obligations. You can contact the developer to ask about access, correction or deletion of information you provided. Local puzzle data is managed with the app’s deletion controls; the developer has no remote copy to retrieve.

Kliklet is intended for family use. The app does not create child accounts or send children’s photos to the developer. A parent or guardian can contact the developer with privacy questions.
